Company History

Trans-Net Inc. was founded in 1994 as a transportation and logistics consulting firm. We were hired by Sunmar shipping in 1996 to assist in reorganizing and improving several of their Russian Ventures which concluded just after the Russian Financial crisis of 1997 /1998. Trans-Net Inc. then began its own operations in the Russian Far East handing commercial and USAID cargo. We opened our first office in Vladivostok [Trans-Net Vostok] in the summer of 2000 followed by other Trans-Net offices being opened in Sakhalin Island and Moscow. Simultaneously,  the company expanded operations to China, Europe and South East Asia to take advantage of the economic synergies with Russia, North America and Europe. We have opened our own joint venture offices in Scotland and Shanghai, and are preparing to open  a joint venture in India. Trans-Net has developed its Hotel and Hospitality Concierge Logistics Service in response to the increased need in the marketplace.
